Cadbury's newsletter is designed to keep you ahead of the stock market. The letter uses a great many indicators developed by Christopher Cadbury over the past 48 years which tell where different types of tops and bottoms occur. The indicators are sentiment indicators, relative strength indexes, short-term oscillators, and key reversal indicators.
Once a trend is underway. its strength is evaluated. The strength of a trend is determined by the degree to which the market has been oversold or overbought, by the NYSE volume, by the NYSE advance/decline ratios and by the market's ability to move beyond some mildly overbought or oversold sentiment readings.
The newsletter projects levels for the S.&P. 500 over the next two weeks. It also recommends levels for trading positions. The letter uses tight stops. "Timer Digest" magazine of Greenwich, Conn. has been tracking the letter since 1999. Twice the newsletter has received the number one ranking in the U.S. for a period of ten years. A great many other times it has received the "Timer Digest" #1 ranking for shorter periods ranging from three months to five years.
The letter has been published three times per week except for holiday weeks since 1994. It is e-mailed about an hour after the close on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday with Monday's, Wednesday's and Friday's dateline. The price of the service is $299 per year which works out to approximately $2 per issue, about the same price as the "WSJ" or "IBD".
